We have no plans for today, but Pia wants to thoroughly clean the
bathroom on the ground floor in
Lat Krabang with the high pressure cleaner
And Tom must do that.
But if we want to start, Gunn, Moue's son, asks if we want to to a floating market, the
Bang Khla Floating Market.
After asking a few questions, it appears that the market is close to Chachoengsao, not too
far away.
We do want to go.
At around twelve o'clock we leave.
It turns out to be more than an hour away, around 70 km.
The floating market is quite busy, especially with people eating, because almost nothing but
food is sold.
So we also have to eat.
After dinner we take a look around, and then we go on a river cruise.
The first place where the boat slows down is at a temple where many large bats hang,
megabats, in a few trees.
Some also fly around.
If the story is correct, this is the only place in Thailand where this kind of bats occurs.
The boat sails further, past interesting looking houses and past temples, but especially
along densely covered banks of the Bang Kapong river.
Then we can get out of the boat and visit a temple for fifteen minutes.
The temple is painted completely yellow.
Fascinating, but not really beautiful.
And then after five minutes we are back at the jetty where we leave the boat
Pia and Moue want to buy food to take home, but all food stalls are already cleaned up,
there is no food anymore.
Then, it is decided, we go out to dinner.
And close to home we are not going to dinner because the children are very annoying.
So food is bought at a market, and that is eaten at home.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
